About the Donskoy
The Donskoy, also known as the Don Sphynx or Russian Hairless, is a distinctive breed originating from Russia, characterized by its complete lack of coat due to a dominant genetic mutation. Unlike the recessive gene of the Sphynx, the Donskoy's hairlessness results in warm, wrinkled skin that can feel like heated suede. They have a muscular build, a wedge-shaped head with striking eyes, and large, bat-like ears.
