Avalon is a gorgeous big boy. He is quite a presence when he walks into the room. Despite his size, he is comfortable just hanging around with other cats. It seems he had some bad experiences with humans when he wa s a little kitten and is very cautious around anyone. With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Avalon will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks.
