Contrary to his name, Mello is a very energetic and curious bird who came into Palomacy with injuries sustained while being raced. He sought shelter on an Oakland window ledge and, by luck, the homeowner is a friend of a wildlife rehabber who is a friend of Palomacy. Mello is recovering well in foster care and he'll soon be available for adoption in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
